If DPY and CL did their jobs well to beat other opponents, JOJ probably is the only one can stop CJ. CJ beat JOJ at Malaysia open this year. I think he had chance to beat JOJ as long as he plays his normal game and doesn't put too much pressure on himself. If I were C J I would assume that I had lost the chance to play in Olympics and play this games just to prove that I am true world no. 4.

I have a look at the draw of women single. From chinese team point of view, I think it is a chance to review whether WSX is good enough to go Olympics as compared with Li XueRui. WSX has to prove that she can beat TTY (Chris 's favourite) and J Schenk on the way to semi final. How WYH and JYJ respond to their korean opponents will also be interesting because this may affect the strategy of chinese team in Uber cup May this year. The prospect of Liu Xin can also be review through the games with Saina and pornip.

I think CL can complete this mission if he is willing to help and plays his normal game. On the other hand, Peter Gade will face a lot of challenge from H Yun, T Sugiarto in the early round, Lee H Il in the quarter final and of course Chen Long in semi Final. So, I think it is aonther golden chance for Chen Jin and hope he doesn't mess it up again.

Ya.... you ask the important question. He starts developing dependency on his team mates and didn't fix his own problems. He should be more independent. However, with so many good players as his teamates and he desperately needs the points, it is not surprise he start taking short cut and developing this kind of dependency during the process. In short, if he can break this dependency and try to find out why he lost such stupid games and fixed the real issue within him psychologically, the winning Chen Jin will be back.

Currently, many BCers are following Chen Jin (to see if he can participate in the 2012 London Olympic Games).

In Round 1 of this Swiss Open, CJ will face Gurusaidutt R. M. V. of India.

Let's see how well CJ can perform (and wishing him GOOD LUCK).

Unfortunately, Chen Jin could be suffering from "The more I want something,the more it eludes me" syndrome. The London OG obsession is running riot in the badminton play of not a few players and Chen Jin is the biggest victim - to think a world class player himself having to "depend" on others for "help' and yet failing to deliver,practically letting others decide his fate and not believing he can achieve it by himself, thereby developing a crutch mentality that is self-defeating.

I've no problem believing he is indeed world no. 4 under normal circumstances. That's also why I often stressed the mental aspect of the game as the ultimate deciding factor tilting the balance in favour of one or other player when they are of the same class, aside from unforeseen circumstances such as injury, (playing schedule at unearthly hours as happened to PG).
