JUST Go for the VT Z force.. Chose the Best!! Take a while to learn how to master the Racket if you are playing offensive style! but if you master how to full use of it, you will LOVE IT!

You're talking to someone who's playing a year. With class mates only.
To be honest, he wouldn't need a high end racket at all. But we all know we love the sport more with good equipment.
But to recommend a massive head heavy racket to a beginner / low intermediate* player, that's very questionable. No matter if the racket is superb or not.
*(intermediate is a relative word)

It is not the local region code so shouldn't be sold there unless someone brought them over and sold them privately. But most SP coded sold in Germany/Europe are fake ones to make a quick buck and Switzerland is around the corner so will depend on who it was bought from. I remember one case here of someone buying a fake racket (a couple actually, JP and CH code) from an actual store in Switzerland (which has since closed).
We had this one store in Netherlands as well that thought they were smart and bought a whole batch of fake CH coded NS9000's
. And when found out wouldn't concede they were fake ... store changed owners since and new owner was made aware and got rid of them.

I bought my racket from a local retail reseller. Probably the biggest and most known reseller in Switzerland. And he gets Yonex rackets from YONEX Switzerland directly, so I doubt its fake

But I'll recheck the code when I'm at home this weekend and let you know about the code
What was the name of the store in Switzerland which sold a fake racket? :O

Well.. I used to travel around with my rackets checked in as hand carries in a badminton bag. I have traveled with China Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Garuda Airlines & some budget airlines. Firstly, they of course prohibit took rackets on board as hand carries, and i explained to them that the racket could be damaged if i put them on the baggage, lastly they allowed me to hand carry rackets, since they cant guarantee that my rackets will arrive safely at destination..Some of my friends have their rackets carried on by the stewardess to the plane, but that does not happen to me..
Air Canada, well you might try your luck..Last edited by Licin; 03-15-2012 at 10:43 AM.

(in the serial # thread it was listed as Sporthaus Kunz; google that and top result is Kunz Sport but I don't think it can be the same as it is an Intersport store)
