Sorry, my mistake then. But shouldn't they call them "wrist guard" instead of wrist supports?

so how your wrist right now? i hurt my wrist exactly like yours 3 weeks ago.. and I thought it was a small deal so i kept playing until i couldn't do back hand drive or clear..

for the last two week i still played badminton once a week and try to play gently.. and yet it still feel pain at some angle, especially back hand clear or back hand lift..

I'm just wondering how long it took you to heal completely?

If it doesn't heal properly after the first injury it may become chronic.

I'm getting acupuncture done on mine, will report after its healed.

for wrist injury, I recommend you follow these steps:

    (1) Go see a doctor immediately. Do not wait until the next day. The doctor will usually prescribe NSAID to reduce the inflammation.

    (2) Rest. Do not use the wrist and hand at all for a week or two.

    (3) Acupuncture for a few days.

    (4) Physiotherapy, rehab and stretching exercise for the wrist.

    (5) After 4 to 8 weeks of the above, resume playing badminton. But you must use a wrist support or guard. Taping is also good.
