For some reasons, whenever I play badminton in Korea, my hands get dry much quickly causing irritation on my fingers and hand. I watch a lot of badminton videos and professional players put like powder or spray or some sort of lubrication on the grip. Is it because of the dryness like for me? What is the purpose of these? Do you think I should buy one of them?

power grip or spray does the opposite of what you want
the purpose of the power or spray is to make your hand stay dry because many players have sweaty hand

Hi all, I used the powder grip yesterday, together with a sweat wrist band on my game yesterday. surprisingly, the sweat on my palm is gone! So i can assume that the sweat on the palm is not 100% generated out from ur palm. Some of the sweats are from ur forearm which rolls down over to your palm hence making it very wet and sweaty.

First time ever after my 2.5hrs play of badminton, my RKEP grip is still so fresh and tacky. maybe u guys shld try it too. FYI, i am using Apacs powder grip and a normal wristband which is brandless.

try hand cream, take it from your mom or your sis. Try to apply it earlier before you play. try to find those hand cream which are less oily.

There are two kinds of grip aid - one absorbs sweat, the other adds tackiness. I use the latter (in the form of a Resinpad).

Since I started using a wristband on the same arm as my racket (essentially for wiping of some sweat from my forehead), I didn't had any sweaty hands anymore.
No use for grippowder needed so far.
I use Nike swoosh doublewide wristbands.
