Most badmintonshops will sell Li Ning rackets, but you will have to ask for it. Most of the shops won't stock them directly because it's to expensive. If you order, it will take only 2 or 3 days.
Yes, it is! It is all the way in Sheung Wan, nearest MTR station is also named "Sheung Wan" after that you have to walk a few blocks and it will by on the first floor... I went there but unfortunately when I went it was closed
There's always Li-Ning's flagship store in TST, but the prices aren't great - full price. I know that e78 sells LN stuff online, so I'm sure if you stop by you can find them in-store as well.
Thank you all for the replies! I am going to find that Sheung Wan shop. I don't have any experience in badminton. One of my friend asked me to check this. So, is Li Ning brand is expensive than Yonex? Which one is better? Thanks.
When did they move ? Because I went in February and the shop front was there but it was closed... hopefully I will be going back to HK in May
their lease ran out so they looked for an alternative location. i believe you went just at the time when they were moving. lucky you get to go to HK so often!
Ah MAN!! I went all the way from England to Hong Kong and all the way from Hang Hau to Sheung Wan just to visit their store...
Not that I remember, but it was fun traveling around Hong Kong after I haven't been there in 5+ years. But what I am more surprised about is the price of the rackets!!! I bought my Voltric 80 strung with BG66UM at £105 but in England it would be £161.49, which meant I saved a lot of money
Especially badminton rackets !! just looking at the mybadmintonstore website makes me think how cheap rackets are in asia. Even Singapore the rackets are cheaper compared to England but I only save on average about £20 but HK I save about £40+ depending on the racket.
and frankly, the prices in MBS has the shipping factored in already. local prices are even cheaper. buying rackets in the US however, isn't as expensive. usually the price difference is only around 20% which at the end of the day, might be worth it with the combination of warranty as well as supporting local retailers.
Exactly! Hmmm I can't really claim my warranty having to fly back to HK/SG just for a replacement of the racket.... sigh
Give Winston a call @Mybadmintonstore before you go. He may not have the item(s) you want in stock at the store, but can have them brought over from his warehouse. If you call first, he'll likely have it there by the time you arrive. His in-store prices are lower than the mail order prices. I can't say what the discount is for Li-Ning racquets, but the in-store discount he gave me on a couple of pairs of shoes was significant.
