Last week I visited the Philippines Army Wellness Center in Fort Bonifacio to try out the court. I'm pleased to inform the place is nice. It has 6 taraflex courts. Fee is P70 play all you can on Sat & Sun (not sure on weekdays). Other than badminton, the fee also inclusive table tennis & basketball. Outside the building, they have a big swimming pool & picnic area (separate fee). Overall, its a nice place for family get together over the weekend. :)

Yup it's open for public. I'm a civilian too. There are certain courts reserved for army personnel. :)

Players there are friendly. Sometimes during peak hours, due to the limited courts, usually we play with other players. They enjoy playing with different players. :)

    Hi,

Is the website updated with regards to the time and days for exclusive of courts for army personnel use?

Are there so many players during saturdays from 9am onwards?

We work somewhere in mckinley and play every saturday usually at The Zone in makati but would like to play longer since our playing time there is limited (per hour charging). Our number every week range from 8 - 15 players.

Hi jaymz, pls see above post for some updated info. Out of the 6 courts, 3 are reserved for the army personnel. However, if there is no army personnel, they would allow other players to use it except peak hours in the evening for weekdays & Sat afternoon to evening.

Sat & Sun morning are usually quiet unless there is an event or tournament. Peak hours on Sat starts around 3pm & usually all 6 courts will be occupied. After 8pm usually not many players left.

Give it a try as the location is very convenient & near to your Mckinley work place. Give me a text or ring, I'm usually free on Sat morning & would like to join your group. :)

Good day to all Badminton aficionados & enthusiasts! Firstly, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year 2013. :)

Now that the holidays break is over, I'm sure some of us have gained some extra pounds. It's time to bring out our badminton gears & workout some sweats. :D

As such, I'm organising a Badminton game on this coming Saturday (Jan 12) in Army Gym, Taguig from 2:00pm to 6:00pm (depending on the number of player). For those who are interested, kindly SMS me with your name, number of player, skill level (Beginner or Intermediate).

I could also arrange a game on Sunday provided there are at least 4 players. Pls feel free to contact me should you require any clarification.

    Cheers,
    Paul :)
