so i currently use a BG65. i know its a generic string and im looking for better ones. are there any strings that can give me more power and control than the bg65? even better if it is inexpensive and/or durable!

I used to use BG65 but then tried the BG85 and liked it a lot and haven't changed since. Must be almost 2 decades ago. :p The BG65 feels dull and slippery in comparison. Nowadays I just stung all my rackets with BG85 23lbs, I can feel the shuttles much better.

BG80 is the benchmark these days. try it out and see how you feel about it.

BG80 for me is a bit hard but durable. String won't slip. Have to hit harder compare to BG66UM which has more repulsion.

check the BG66UM thread for the review on those.

    NBG98 is more powerful IMHO.
