Hi, i recently bought a Arcsaber 10 peter gade from luxis sports and there are somethings that made me think that i bought a fake racket, even though that i know luxis has good reputation. There are two luxis sports at two different locations with different bosses btw. 1. I went to the Luxis sports in Mongkok first and the boss said that the Arcsaber 10 PGs are very hard to get and they dont have them. 2. Then I went to the one in Jordan and they had TONS of them (they had a drawer and he just pulled one out of like 20?) 3. The racket looked pretty legit with the sunrise sticker over the serial code so i bought it and when he was stringing the racket another person came in and said "wow, arent those already sold out?" and the guy stringing was like "But we have "ALOT "(yes he was smiling) 4. When i was looking around the shop they had racket covers piling on the floor and i picked one of the arcsaber ones and looked inside and guess what, the grey padding that was supposed to be in the cover was black and no padding . Well but after he stringed the racket he pulled a cover our of nowhere (lol seriously i didnt see where he got it from) and it had the grey padding thingy and had the zipper. So what do u guys think? i know luxis has good reputation but it is kinda suspicious though. Anyway this is my racket racket model: Yonex Arcsaber 10 PG shaft serial: 9945561 cone code : 010213SPprice : US $173 is it legit? thanks
i wouldnt worry too much about that. the shops normally buying them in bulk directly from Japan and source the covers from the cheapest they can get
forgot the handle cap sry, i'll post it tomorrow because it is very late but are the serial codes legit? thanks
(move the thread! ) I don't know what shop "buys SP rackets in bulk straight from Japan and sources their covers from wherever" but this racket looks just fine. They could've held back stock to sell at a premium in the future for all you know. The bag you saw earlier was probably for the low end ArcSabers ...

SP means Singapore however, right now it generally used by Sunrise (Yonex distributor) and the racket is distributed all around Asia so you can find SP racket in Malaysia, India, HK, etc
Manufactured in 2011 and having serials 99xxxx? I thought it would have been back to 2xxxxx? But to be honest u ve to whip me to death to believe Luxis does fakes. He is reputable and having gotten so much good word of mouth and a top class stringing machine albeit a little more pricey, there is no freaking logic for him to do fakes. All the stuff i bought from him are top class legit stuff.
I'm sorry, but you are wrong it goes back to 2XXXXXX after LATE FEBRUARY 2011 the cone code here is early Feb, so there is nothing wrong with the shaft serials and cone code
