hmmm. i think wisnu yuli prasetyo deserves more tourney.... still dont understand why pbsi dont send him here.... he played very well last year.... maybe pbsi wants to groom Vito, Riyanto and Evert only ?? Andre Marteen should give result in sirnas first before he get a chance in a challenge level. but it's ok, still better than last year when there is no player from pelatnas in this tourney (cmiiw)
BAC has released the draw... DRAW : http://www.badmintonasia.org/attachment/Draws Osaka International Challenge 2012.xls
Looks like Thailand wants to groom Thammasin Sitthikom sending him here and there. This 17 yo boy is quite talented. he will be a very strong contender in WJC next year (2013). he defeated Riyanto Subagja last year in Thai GP Gold, In Tangkas Alfamart YIC, he defeated Thomi Azizan and Fikri Ihsandi... Good luck for him. A problem for Thai junior once they graduated and go into senior stage is that they can not concentrate on training because they have to study in the university. I hope Thammasin can do well after his graduation from junior stage
MS : bad draw for all Ina jr WS : Bella v Noz in QF should be exciting !! Slightly better draw for Desi Hera MD : Any Ina pair can make a milestone here........... WD : Although Ina is seeded 1 and 2, Jpn and Chn 3rd or 4th layer are here, so it will be tough XD : Time for Irfa/Weni to shine

I heard many flights to Japan are cancelled. Not sure if they can reach there on time for the matches.
For those who will not to play in qualification still have time, but sorry for those who have to play in qualification, game has been started. The wind was very terrible yesterday!!

Okay....matches in the Main Draw will be started tomorrow. MS R32 Riyanto Subagja vs Tatsuya Watanabe - Riyanto is one of the 2 INA MS players in the Main Draw after Andre Marteen had to conceve walkover today. I hope he can progress to at least R16. Evert Sukamta vs Christopher Flores - Evert should also clear the first hurdle. WS R32 Bellaetrix Manuputty [1] vs Akane Yamaguchi - Bella is seeded first and should win the title here. But, there are some players like Nozomi or young Chinese players who will probably end Bella's challenge. I am not confident that INA will win a title in WS. Naoko Fukuman vs Hera Desi [2] - this is going to be a tough tie. I hope Hera Desi can win. MD R32 Andrei Adistia/Christopher Rusdianto [6] vs Xie Yiji/Yu Junjie - a tricky tie for Andrei/Christopher. Still, I hope they can reach at least QF. Muhd Ulinnuha/Ricky Karanda Suwardi [7] vs Huang Po Jui/Chang Kai Liang - the title won last week will relieve some pressure off Ulin/Ricky. Tougher matches await them this week and it starts with the TPE pair. Chen Chung Jen/Liao Chun Chieh vs Berry Angriawan/Rahmat Adianto - out of the 4 pairs sent by Pelatnas, Berry/Rahmat is probably the "weakest" among them, even though they won the Kejurnas last year. They need an IC title to prove that they deserve to stay in Pelatnas. Praveen Jordan/Didit Juang Indrianto vs Chen Mingyu/Yang Fan - Didit/Jordan did well in reaching their first SF in an international tourney. They should clear the first hurdle in Osaka before facing probably a seede pair next. Kazuteru Kozai/Kosuke Yasamura vs Markus Fernaldi Gideon/Agripinna Prima Rahmanto Putra [2] - as the second-seed, high hopes are on Markus/Agri to fulfill their seeding. WD R32 Jenna Gozali/Komala Dewi [1] vs Rei Nagata/Momoko Segawa - once again, with the presence of CHN pairs, chance for one of the two INA pairs taking the title is not promising. Still, Jenna/Komala are expected to reach at least QF. Jiang Yujing/Kang Yiling vs Gebby Ristiyani Imawan/Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah [2] - what an unlucky draw for Gebby/Tiara. I am not sure if they can beat the CHN pair. XD R32 Irfan Fadhilah/Wenni Anggraini [1] vs Puavaranukroh Dechapol/Wiranpatch Hongchookeat - Irfan/Wenni should take this. Eitaroh Yoshikawa/Sayaka Hirota vs Riky Widianto/Richi Dili Puspita [2] - ditto for Riky/Richi.
