imagine the scenario when starting cross strings at B9->D9.

    1) if i tie off on B8 or B7. and pull 30lbs at D9. what is the tension outside B9?

    2) if i weave 2 strings B9->D9, D10->B10, then i pull once at B10, what is the tension outside B9?

answers must be in pounds of tension and must be a single number and not a range.

the formula for closest will be the sum of the absolute of difference.

the value will be taken from measurement from my machine. the value will be taken 1 minute after my WISE beeps to let the tension settle. setting will be fast speed, no pre-stretch, constant pull.

    The PRIZES

    - one Li-Ning Performance Shirt
    Sponsored by www.badminton-nation.com

    - one package of the new Yonex NBG99
    Sponsored by www.mybadmintonstore.com

    - one 10metre length of Zymax String of your choice (ZM62/65/67/70)
ZM62 will be cut from a reel. ZM65/67/70 will be a package.

(i might add more prizes later if i can find more sponsors)

DEADLINE IS 11:59pm PST, Saturday, March 31st.
The answer will be revealed in a video of the measurement.

    Is pre stretch on?

#2 Please define double pull. Is it
    1) Pulling string on B10 at 30lb till your regular tension head stop?
    2) Pulling string on B10 at 30lb. release then pull it again at 30lb till your tension head stop?

    Thank you.

How you gonna measure the tension on B9 after you tension the string in both cases.

Do I understand this correctly - a test to see if pulling the second cross, and leaving out the first, results in tension loss on the second cross?

My guesses, for the record, are 29.6 and 28.6, but I am interested in the result (if I've gleaned the correct meaning).
