and it really felt good. Now I need something with similar specs but nowhere near as expensive.

    Any suggestions.

NS990 is definitely a heavy head racket

You keep posting this everywhere, but have you even used it or are you just going by that one website's posted specs?

I wouldn't go by that websites specs because that would be extremely head heavy. (more so then voltric)

Exactly. I can't say I've tried the NS990 extensively, but I've hit a couple of shots with it and while it's on the head heavy side relative to the pool of Nanospeeds, it's not considered head heavy overall.

I will hit a little more with my coach's demo NS990 today to check again, but I and practically everyone in these threads besides you is sure that it's not a head heavy racket.

I can't remember what exact model, but I played with one of the new Nanoray rackets and it felt quite similar to my NS9900... and I think they are a little cheaper.

Personally, my advice for you would be to save up and get the NS9900, because it is such a great racket.

You used Badminton Alley's website as "proof" that he's wrong? Badminton Alley's a perfectly fine store, but they don't even give balance points in mm, they only give their own number system and label (head light). Your post is no more helpful than his

I played with it again a few times, it wasn't so great. I've been playing with a high flex racket until now so I've gone of a medium flex, head light racket instead.

    no
i told him to get from the official yonex website.
do u see my eariler post?

"all nanospeed series racket r head light..

see here at yonex webby, they tell u...so..

    http://www.yonex.com/badminton/webcatalog2011/#page=15

if u feel head heavy... probably..yr racket grip is affecting it...."

since he doesnt trust the manufacturer yonex website but a third party, i can oso use a third party website to prove that he is wrong.

anyway.. i just pass on this... headlight or not..oso not my prob...
