Anyone knows where to get it right now? Seems out of stock everywhere until mid April.

Call 'em. I think they're located in Oakland. (shuttlecock 101).
Let us know if you get a great price.

Yep, tried all popular sites: shuttlecocks101, shuttlecombo, shuttles.com, etc. Somehow, they all gave similar availability time of mid April. Guess I just try something else then. Any ideas on Victor champion #1 or Chaopai red? (similar price). Victor Master seems a bit pricey.

    bad supply planning... ;)

I just stocked up 50 tubes 2 months ago, thought they would last for a while. Anyway, Aeroplane is not really satisfying as it tends to slow down a lot after a couple of hard smashes. It's fine for relaxing games with just clears, drops and half smashes though. I'm really willing to try a little more expensive birdies that hold well against hard hits. Had thought about using AS-50 but the price tag together with the unwillingness to play of other ppl (because it's too fast) screwed it all up. Just hope Victor's would be somewhere in the middle.

My friends and I tried the Victor Tourney 1 and they're fantastic!! Same with BK 6800... Very durable and predictable fliught speed.

agree. that's the issue with Aeroplane, mostly on the 49's. the 50's tends to be better.

other than that, they do last like forever and the flight and consistency is quite good.

the most incredible part about the Aeroplane though, is that they managed to keep the same quality of shuttle for so long. they feel the same as the ones from a decade+ ago.

To be honest, I don't expect a lot from its price. From what I've read here, Victor Champion #1 and Chaopai Red/Purple are more comparable to Aeroplane Black.

Yeah, that's exactly why I keep ordering it, knowing you hardly can go wrong with it though you are not 100% happy . Maybe now is a good time to explore something new.

I love Aeroplanes 50. They're one of the only bird brands that can last almost an entire game! I just order mine from Canuckbadminton, but if others are having supply issues, they're probably out for a bit too :( I'm down to 3 tubes!

frmo my experience, AS50 flies better and have a more cripsy feel, but Aeroplane Black lasts longer than AS50 by far.

Aeroplane Blk is definitely better than some of the Yonex. I didn't use the high high end Yonex shuttles yet, but the ones I did, I wasn't too pleased w/ them. After trying several brands, I still can't find a consistant shuttle like Aeroplane Black. I like the Aeroplane Blue also for more casual play, but didn't like the Green lebel as it felt very shaky.
