well, both are 0.65 mm string, and both are relatively new to the market. Both have generated so many interest and discussion. let's get them summarized here! I have played with BG66UM and Zymax 62 (NOT 65), and found them very similar, other than BG66UM lasts a bit longer, and more forgiving to mis-hits. Any one with latest comparison between the two? I am still waiting for my Zymax 65.
I have a reel of each. Z62 is the 1st generation, if there is an improved 2nd generation which I don't know. To me, Z62 is better than 66UM. I am a little disappointed with 66UM. Not saying 66UM is bad, but just not at good as a lot of people said. It's just one of the thinner string, not much uniqueness. Z62 is very different from the rest.
