Lin Dan Has big oportunities to end three and half year Lee Chong Wei's world number one. He must win India Open Superseries and being number one. On my calculation, last year he didn't get point from this event and Chong Wei being champion. Now, point gap between them is 3360. This year if he being champion, he add 2200 and Chong wei lost at least 1400 if he was finalist. I think Lin DAN will take it because it was last superseries before olympic qualification and if he will be the number one of course he was the first seed. the first seed will play against the fourth seed which is either Peter Gade or Chen Jin to avoid the third seed which is Chen Long. So it will possible if Chen Long beat Chong Wei in Semifinal and versus Lin Dan in final to secure gold medal for China. What do you think ???
Why should he take the pressure off lee chong wei as the new top seed in London ? He has enough points to secure his ticket and see no need to help Chen Jin to qualify..let him settle his own battle.
Depends on who his drinking buddy is, CJ or CL. For sure he will celebrate after winning the gold medal with a couple of shots at local hangouts....but wait I am not sure if he prefers to take the finalist or semi-finalist
