i thought it was all nanospeed rackets that were head light , but when i held the NS990 that was really heavy

Can anyone give me a list of light head rackets that are extra stiff or stiff

Also is the only advantage of using a heavy head racket is to add more power/momentum to your smashes?

NS9900 probably the best Yonex choice for extra stiff, head light.
Victor BS10 great extra stiff alternative with a fast swing and even balance.

Head weight helps control and feel too.

Are there anymore rackets that are stiff and head light, ns9900 is big too much money for me, are there any other models?

What is your budget then? Maybe you could try other brand than Yonex, i believe they do have several good products which are cheaper...

Nanoray100 - £93, still out of your budget. The only other thing from yonex is ns2000 but that's medium stiff. Victor BS10 is £100 (or was).

Are you sure you held a 3u ns99k? lol its suppose to be really light. I am not really a big fan of yonex or headlight rackets but you can try the lower end nanospeed series or the nanoray. Do you like the headlight feeling? or do you mind something that's a bit more even? Explore some brands like Apacs, rkep and panda power! :)

Maybe you could try searching for 2nd hand Yonex high end racket, with a little top up. You might also try 2nd hand victor racket.

look for the Ti series (except Ti-10) or nanospeed (not 9900) or nanoray (not 700), the TI-zero is the lightest but its flexible i think.

the only stiff light head ones i know for sure are nanoray 80, 100 & Nanospeed 7000.

Really, to be more realistic there is almost none from Yonex that is really head-light. Don't just listen to me n swing all Yonexes. None of them have 'light' swing like those other brands.

Arc 3fl and nanospeed 2000 are currently the most head light

My suggestion, get a slightly heavy head or even balanced rackets. You need really good 'form' and techniques to use a light-head racket. Light-head rackets tend not to have enough 'weight' thus momentum to do power shots.

Ok, suit yrself. Everyone has their own preferences. Just remember, a heavier head racket will have a more powerful swing than a headlight one. Almost all the pros using either a head-heavy or even balance rackets, especially the top players like Lin Dan n Lee Chong Wei.
