I re-gripped my new racket, and as it was my first time, I think I did it wrong.

I wrapped it round the wrong way, so it goes 'upwards' from left to right instead of right to left.

I want to know if this is a big issue, or if it should be fine.

You can see how my right hand is kinda 'crossing' the grip as it has been wrapped from left to right.

    Thanks in advance.

    You sure?

Will it affect my game play? You do rank grip as #3 most important, above the racket...

And it does feel comfortable, it's just that it feels more comfortable in my left hand (but I'm right handed).

I think I'm probably just freaking out though lol.

If you really don't like, I would try and pull the grip off and the grip it the way you are comfortable with...

In the time that you had typed and read these responses, you could've rewrapped it properly. But then, I'm more OCD than these other fellas! :p

It's been a few hours since I gripped it. Can I still remove it and re-grip?

Re-grip as in take the grip out and re-grip the same one back on...

I doubt it now, as the adhesive has probably stuck on.

Yeah ripping off that grip and sticking it back on it not so good (or even possible) so either leave it or try a new one. But again as long as you're comfortable with it, it doesn't matter.

I just played a game and wow, I didn't feel any difference. I think I was being too fussy.
