Recommend a doubles racket for advanced player! ($200 Budget~)

    Hello Badminton Central members!

    I have been browsing this forum for 2 months and I absolutely loved this board. It is my go-to area to satisfy my badminton needs when I'm not playing. I have researched plenty of rackets and picked out a few to choose from, and I need some advice on which one to choose!

    A little information on myself:
    • I'm an intermediate-advanced level club player
    • Mostly aggressive (I really like smashing and net killing)
    • Primarily play doubles
    • Good in both front court and rear court
    • Would like a head heavy/even balance racket with stiff shaft.
    I previously used a Yonex Musclepower, even-balance/mid-flex racket, and I loved it! However the shaft was too flexible for me to play with now. I occasionally play with my friends Voltric 70 and I find it a pretty good racket but it doesn't feel right in doubles for me. I also based the rackets I chose on how they perform in both attacking and defensive qualities for all-around doubles play.

    Here are the following rackets I decided to choose from, since their specs are somewhat similar and there are so many choices T_T I have no idea which one to buy. ($200~ budget)

    - Victor Bravesword LYD
    - Victor Meteor X80
    - Yonex Arcsaber Z Slash
    - Li Ning N50II
    - Apacs Tantrum 200/300 (Heard it was really good in doubles and near equal quality to high end rackets from other brands)

    You may recommend other rackets too! but I would prefer the ones from my selection ;)

    I would suggest you to have VTZF on those list. Please try Victor BS LYD, MX80, Li ning N50II & YY VTZF..

    Thank you, does the Z-Force have good playability in doubles? I heard it was mainly geared towards singles play.

    I think I will narrow my choices to a Bravesword LYD, Meteor X80 and the N50II, maybe the new Z-Force as suggested :D which of the 3 compared would be a better choice?

    go for most expensive one first. Then if its not suitable, sell it away, buy the second one and so on. haha...

    I second the ZF. Get a 4U one for doubles play. I did and it is as advertised! :)

    BS LYD -> a little bit head heavy, stiff but not super stiff

    Just give a try :)

    Looks like I'll start by getting a 4U Z-Force, it looks pretty good as a doubles racket actually :)

    I'll also get it first so I can have an easier time reselling this item incase the racket doesn't like me haha :p

    Good move... Hope you can get accustomed to the 4U VTZF. It is quite light, hence swing weight is not so demanding..I am planning to get 4U also though...

    Thanks for the suggestions guys... However my wallet just can't take it for Easter or April Fool..:p :D
