I like what you did with the aluminium plate. I may need to do the same thing once I get my WISE since it doesn't fit many Gamma machines, can that be found in pretty much any hardware store ?

i didn't find it in the local hardware store. i ordered it from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000H9JJ9W/ref=oh_o01_s00_i00_details
the material is 6061-T6 Aluminum alloy which is one of the most popular and stronger Aluminum alloys.

the base clamp is nice. but i have to admit that the Yonex one is lighter action. the Gamma one is strong but so is the spring back and i hit my fingers a few times and it hurts like hell.
that's kinda my plan also, even though i didn't find it that necessary to use a 6 oclock load spreader.Anyways, MBFS just got ordered from ATS sports, and it should be on its way. I will probably do a setup of the Gamma head clamp at the 12, and load spreader at the 6.
yeah. that could be scary process.Congrats on the new machine once again. The 5003 was my first machine and I love it. Next step is to save up for a 2086 or just get permission from the banker (aka the wife)

but having earned/saved more money from stringing than the cost of the machine and also being my birthday helped!

you mean you prefer it to be level with the stringbed and give up 360 rotation?
will do that tonight!BTW, please post a picture with the clamp on the main and cross string to show the space of the teeth. and other one with the clamp on the last tie off main string to see how close is to the frame and side support. Thanks.
but from memroy, it was tight. sometime the end teeth will move the string by 1mm or 2.
and the side support isn't perfect, it still protrude into the frame area by less than 1/2 cm.
anyway you will see it when i have the pics.
