1. Is my racquet up? 2. Where is my partner standing? 3. Where are my opponents standing? 4. How do they hold their racquets?
what i should be thinking: he killed my father. what i usually thinking: let's get this over with. what i end up thinking: i need more oxygen.
Lol! . So you're taking my advice (or at least trying to) on being more aggressive from your "what's wrong with my smash" thread? Although I only suggested you imagine that he dissed your mom, not as extreme as killed your dad!
Maybe kwun's inspiration for aggression wasn't you, Uncle visor. Maybe it was this guy -- who has his own three sentences before he competes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JGp7Meg42U
I tried Kwun's suggestion. But I only got to the first word and then they served. So I'm standing there like an idiot while the bird flies over my head. My partner yells "what the hell were you thinking?!?" and my only response is "he killed my father"
well that lies your problem. look at the subject of this thread, you are supposed to tell *yourself*, why are you telling your partner?
