Hi all, it is finally time to part way with my beloved Alpha Shuttle Express machine. this machine has served me well in the past 3 years, most of which i have a different tensioner installed so the crank tensioner has less than 10 string jobs done with it. it was originally a table top machine. i have added a stand so i can string more comfortably standing up. the original legs for the table top is included. the stand has a tool tray as well as a reel holder. you can see the review of the machine itself as well as some history of it in this thread: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...EVIEW-Alpha-Shuttle-Express-Stringing-Machine tools included. as well a MBS load spreader. $300 includes both machine and stand. i won't split them up. i prefer local Nor Cal buyer as this thing is too big to ship.
I may be interested in this but if anyone else would like to purchase it, give them higher priority over me. I'm still quite undecided whether I want a Eagnas or not for 510... The only thing that's stopping me from buying this is that its a floating clamp..
Actually, I'm interested in purchasing the machine but I need my parent's approval since I am only a highschooler and I don't want to go against my parents. I'll PM you if they approve (they were planning on letting me get one in the summer anyways)
Haha yeah, I've already sent my mom a persuasive essay and I think she's fine with me purchasing this machine. Want me to PM you?
and this went to a young man whom i am sure will make good use of it. do let me and others know if you have questions!
this is the one i got and it works well: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003DS81J8/ref=oh_o02_s00_i00_details there are some other ones too. don't get the yellow one. that has a locking feature that cannot be turned off.
Ah thank you very much http://www.ebay.com/itm/Music-wire-String-Cutter-pro-Guitar-Bass-Violin-ukulele-/230769234724?pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item35baeb1324#ht_2243wt_1344 would that be good for cutting badminton string? Or should I search elsewhere
yeah. something like that. probably easier / quicker to just walk into homedepot / lowes and look for something like that. or even just regular scissors will work.
