Hi guys, just wanted the views of those a bit more experienced in such matters. I've read through handy threads like: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...2-Guide-How-to-Spot-Counterfeit-Yonex-Rackets and also the Yonex one: http://www.yonex.com/badminton/counterfeit_products/ Reading those pages, there appears to be some disagreement on whether the production number needs to be a real date or not etc. I've included some pics (sorry if some of them are a bit fuzzy, only have my phone for taking pics ), hopefully it helps unravel the mystery, looking forward to hear your thoughts fellow badmintonians! Thanks in advance
based on shaft serials and cone code = FAKE the bag definitely fake JP racket does not come with sunrise sticker.. (the big rectangular sticker on the cone)
most likely is fake, if u notice picture 8, the YY logo is more to the right and is not on the center of the shaft.
oh yeah also, they use the wrong bag for the arcsaber that is not bag for arcsaber series, that is bag for armortec series the material of the bag also very lousy
OMFG, I, Keyur Kelkar, hereby confess that I am a retard for buying this racket, for I bought it for my wife for her birthday, and now she's going to kill me!
As some has already said, it's fake. Noticed the line under the Arc on the bag? My friend told me the line must start right from the bottom, beginning of the letter A. This one starts way earlier than that thus this being fake. Has already mentioned that the bag is not the real Arcsaber bag.
