Is there any live coverage? Last year there were TV cameras in Melbourne but coverage never made it to tv as far as I know, and all i ever saw was some belated cam recordings on youtube.

GVS/LKW can be frustrating sometimes... making unforced errors after unforced errors in a row... you can't just give Fang/Lee 6 straight points ... omg...

Now they are starting to chase... hopefully that the 6 point drop is not the killer blow in the third game...

16 out of 18 points from Fang/Lee are under 'Other'

Goh/Lim have not improved... sigh... lost in 3 games to Fang Chieh Min/Lee Sheng Mu.
If they didn't lose focus halfway into the game and at crucial stages they might be having a different result.

MS QF
Simon Santoso [3] vs Shon Wan Ho [7] - the last time they met at the German Open QF, Simon just edged past Shon. I hope Simon can repeat the victory in a more convincing manner.
Alamsyah Yunus [15] vs Nguyen Tien Minh [4] - no pressure for Alam who has exceeded expectation in reaching the QF. The Vietnamese has a slight edge.
Taufik Hidayat [5] vs Sho Sasaki [2] - such is Taufik's decline that now, even Sho is ranked above him. Still, I think Taufik can beat the Japanese.
MD QF
Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan [5] vs Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto Chandra [4] - Alvent/AG are still fighting hard for the Olympic berth, while Kido/Hendra have given up on it. So, I think AG/Alvent are more motivated for the victory.
Angga Pratama/Rian Agung Saputro [8] vs Hirokatsu Hashimoto/Noriyasu Hirata [2] - Angga/Rian have at least fulfilled their seeding. Can they upset the Japanese pair? A bit tough....but they have a chance.
WD QF
Satoko Suetsuna/Miyuki Maeda [1] vs Vita Marissa/Nadya Melati - no chance for Vita/Nadya.
Anneke Feinya Agustine/Nitya Krishinda Maheswari vs Luo Ying/Luo Yu - I hope Feinya/Nitya give a better fight than Mel/Grace....and more importantly...not to crumble at crucial stages. Still, I think the CHN pair will take this one.

What an easy draw for CJ, he is the only MS whose opponent in Quarter Final is unseeded , Takuma Ueda.

Is Minatsu injured?
.
Just returned to follow the matches played today.
And for tomorrow (Quarter-Finals), why is Minatsu Mitani giving a walkover to Ai Goto? Is Minatsu injured?

Takuma Ueda must not be under-rated, IIRC,he's the one CHN coach XIA XZ once said is the Japanese player to watch. Still,if Chen Jin doesn't act up,he should progress to the final meeting either Sho or Taufik, I think.

Takuma is not an unknown, won't be very surprised if he dumps CJ out of the Australian Open although I do think that it is unlikely.
