i think markis kido/hendra should've given the match to Hendra/alvent, because kido/hendra don't have a chance to qualify to OG2012. it basically null indonesian chances to qualify 2 pairs at OG 2012. Or kido/hendra should participate in Badminton asian championship and india open to make it into top 8.

Well, some even think clubs like KLRC are rivals to BAM if you read the thread on Zul.

Essentially, the INA club system is like what described by LD rules! The National Team players DO return to their clubs for the National Championships (either individual or team event) and for other club-related tourneys like the Superliga that was held in 2009 & 2011.

    Matches of the day

Bae Youn Joo vs. Wang Lin
    - Very close and nerve racking game. Both players felt the tension and importance of the match. Bae Youn Joo's overall retrieving abilities were great today with a few exceptions with side blocks. Wang Lin also played brilliant but made many errors and was relatively slow, perhaps her injury still holding her back? Very close match, 3 sets and Bae just edged with a win in final set 23-21

    Hashimoto/Hirata vs Pratama/Saputra
Amazing match. Very face paced, dynamic and explosive with many long rallies that was noticeable even from where I was sitting (far from this end court). And the crowd was also very drawn to this close encounter, ending in 3 sets to Pratama/Saputra who played brilliantly and surprising us.

Chan Peng Soon/Goh Lui Ying vs He Hanbin/Bao Yixin
Match showcased great attack and defensive abilities of both pairs. But Chan and Goh really stood out. Chan because of his persistent and aggressive attacking style and Goh with absolutely amazing control ability at the net. Both players were also VERY impressive on the defensive despite He Hanbin having one of the strongest smashes.

    Chen Jin vs Takuma Ueda
Takuma played brilliantly. This is the first time I've heard and seen him play and he was outstanding. I know Kenichi and Sasaki were great, but now Ueda can be added to the list. A very talented all-round player who has really nice footwork and fast attacking abilities. But once Chen Jin switches to the next gear and played incredibly fast, it was inevitable for Ueda in the end. But overall a great match and Chen Jin definitely didn't get off easily

Fang Chieh Min/Lee Sheng Mu vs Shojo/Naoki
The taiwanese started off very slowly in the second set, not finding their rhythm and constantly getting caught in Japan's deadly attack fest. Shojo and Naoki was attacking extremely well - both players rotating efficiently and smashes were incredibly loud - their attack was relentless. But in the second set, taiwan came back strongly and was able to counter whilst Japanese pair had lost their attacking style perhaps due to fatigue?

Overall a great semi-finals day. Another thing that was striking was the number of Chinese supporters for China and Taipei in comparison to other nations... esp Japan who had the most players being represented in the semis. Most of the crowd was supporting the Chinese with loud applause and constant chant of "-player's name- Jia You" or "Zhong Guo Jia You!"

Words underlined + bold: not INA style. The best player/pair (that day) will win. Simple.
