Any news on how is Peter Gade's recovery from his injury coming along?

Basically he needs an operation to properly fix it but does not want to take that much time off so i think it will be a constant problem. To just what proportions i don't know. source - http://www.facebook.com/petergadeofficial

Watching Egelstaff v Gavnholt. Egelstaff is playing dreadfully, one unforced error after the next, it's like she has not been going to training or getting coached. Total rust bucket, this is not good news for GB's Ladies singles olympic effort

Egelstaff has just finished playing a tournament in Peru last week. It's highly possible that she hasn't recovered from the fatigue and jetlag from that tournament yet.

Yeah she flew from Peru on Saturday/Sunday direct via London to Sweden, it isn't much of a surprise.

Almost forgot this one! Looks like Yuhan Tan had his work with DM. I hope he can prevail tomorrow. Same for his sister Lianne :) zho's playing the number 8 seed. In MD we're up against giant DEN.

    *cough**b*llsh*t**cough* :D

So on this fine watery ice cold morning (*brrr*), first two upsets of the day: Pi Hongyan and Chloe Magee ... exit stage on the left to Karin Schnaase and Natalia Perminova respectively, both in straight sets. Missed opportunity for some extra moolah [IMG].

"... and thus ended the Olympic quest of Lianne Tan". An amazing match it was and perhaps decided on a single highly regrettable decision by Tan. With a 4 point lead, 12-8 I think, she let a smash return drop out ... except it wasn't . Didn't even reach half court and was ripe for a kill but she let it drop .... and the rest as they say is history.

Fierce Polish-Russian XD battle as well going on :D: 29-27 in the first ... Worthy beforehand of a spot on the streaming court(s) but apparently some 2nd rate Danish pairs are more important .

Excellent victory for Gilmour in the WS, wouldn't have put money on her. Probably against :D, good thing it wasn't available but the odds would have probably been in her opponents favour anyway so not interesting ... Up next: sightseeing in beautiful Karlskrona :p

:D That should be interesting: next match on court 2 is XD between Poland and Germany. Problem here is the German lady @ 20 minutes before scheduled start time has only just begun her WD match :p. Not to mention the match after that features a German male who is now also still playing MD so they can't exactly just swap it around either ...

Wow that's a bad time schedule. This will cause some delay.

There already have been some upsets, especially HKV going down was quite a surprise.
