I've just bought this racquect for a little over 100US...

i heard many people say it's fragile......

Is it true? because my DAD screwed me really hard for spending so much on a racquet..........

    i hope mine can last........

    is it really that fragile?

No. My 7 year old uses it. He hits the floor, hits other rackets..... he even uses it to "putt" the shuttle while it lies on the floor, or dribbles it like a hockey puck. So far it is still in one piece!!:D

haha... i remember when i first started badminton, i was sorta like that cept i didn't do it on purpose (hit other rackets, putt the shuttle across cause i couldn't pick up the shuttle with the racket, etc)...however, because i'm the kind of person who cares how the racket looks (dont' get me wrong, i care more about how i play than the looks)...i'd be kicking myself if i had a whole bunch of scratches and paint chips from doing all that stuff i used to do when i was younger.

about the durability of the ti 10...from my experience with it, it seems quite durable...i've accidentally hit got in a clash and the racket wasn't affected (or at least from my observations)...i wouldn't worry too much about it...tons of ppl have bought the racket and if it breaks...these things happen..just be careful

The Yonex Ti-10 is quite durable. At least more durable than the MP series racquets. I've only seen a few break, but they were old enough that they served their purpose.

Yes the ti-10 is durable, mine had many clashes and never broke, just some paint chips. Its the muscle power series that is notorious for breaking

umm, thread about my little 'accident'.

    http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12954

ti10 is quite durable. i did the equivalent of hitting the top of the frame with a light rock and it still seems fine. when i earn my own money i'm going to buy another one, just in case cos it's a great racket, and hopefully i'll have learnt not to be so stupid with such expensive equipment.

    G'day,

Your Ti-10 should last ages as long as you keep it away from hitting something solid and don't string too high tension to it. Mine's strung at 28lbs and so far not a scratch.

Stop swing your racket at home. Go outside instead and avoid to avoid the ceiling. ;)

i think that the ti10 is quite durable, i've had mine for quite a while and i'm no conservative player on court and it is fine so far, just a few paint chips.

btw, one of the chips is when i broke my friend's isometric ti swing power racket (new) in a clash in doubles :( and another is when i broke someone else's carbon graphite racket in another clash, yet apart from the chips, my ti10 is fine
