So, thanks to a good sir in Badmintoncn.com, we finally have word on both the talked about 2012 LTD editions of both ARC10 and AT700. It looks like the new ARC10LTD used by Taufik Hidayat recently is this one: And the new LTD AT700: Both these two 2012 PREMIUM EDITION racquets look great to me and for the right price, I will not mind getting a number of each for both collection and use
The AT700 just won't die, will it? Well, YY are onto a winner - the last AT700 Ltd sold like... oh, hang on...
Time to cash in on arguably the 2 most popular yonex racket in the last decade???? even though Arc 10 came out only about 5 years ago....
Hey Mark, look finally! They've introduced a mainly Black Arc10!!! I like both the AT700 and Arc10 colours, good job for a change
AT700 looks hideously appealing (NS9K gold? ), like the Super Brands version. ARC10PE looks like ARC10PG meets ARC8DX and in this case the "Premium 2012" label makes it far less appealing. A new original colourway with limited serial or something instead of blatantly labeling it "special" is much more interesting for a current model.
I just can't believe YY revive back AT700, hope it will play similarly to the old AT700, though the possibility is quite slim, i think...
The AT700 PREMIUM 2012 looks more appealing to me than the regular 2nd gen AT700 (which I always thought the red and black parts should have switched places). This should be a repaint of the 2nd gen AT700 which I don't mind buying in quantities, other than the AT700LTD 2008
now i'm wondering whether to get this the AT700 Premium 2012 or an AT900 Power. The Arc 10 Premium 2012 I will definitely get
to be honest, when i had a first glance of the 1st pic of the arc 10 premium, i thought it was a victor racket!..probably the bs10..LOL
Why Yonex never produces a racket that plays similar to the old AT700 or a limited edition that plays like it was? Seriously after so many years, the feel and performance of the old AT700 is still unrivalled.
Bit of a shocker to see these two in a new version. As Mark say, AT700 won't die. But, how many players used it and would buy again. I see too many players using light headed racquets these days and I think they're missing out. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
No sir, the premium doesn't look anywhere near the glorious gold of the NS9k! NS9k has that look of The Need For Speed while the premium AT700 is a hunkering golden bull. I still prefer the red and black (modified for 2012).
Sweet! Don't care about the color scheme as much as how the AT700 will play like. If it plays like the LTD dragons, I will buy a few! If it plays like first gen, I'll just get N90's
