[h=2]Xtreme Social Badminton League 2012 Season 2 Dear Badminton Enthusiasts,[/h] Greetings! It is the time of the year again for a New Exciting Season of Xtreme Social Badminton League (XSBL) 2012 (S2). The committee members have given the XSBL Season 2 a very deep thought through observation from Season 1 league. We have tailored the 2nd League to be more inline with our Title "Social" and will see more "social players" participation rather than "professional players". This will be a complete new season with these following new changes & introduction : A. XSBL will be played simultaneously in 3 centres : 1. Extreme Sports Centre @ Sunway South Quay 2. Extreme Park Badminton @ Tambun, Ipoh 3. Hurricane Sports Centre @ Tg Malim Champions, Runners-Up & 2nd Runners-Up teams for each centre will receive sporting goods from Wilson for 14pax and Individual Trophies/medals. B. Grand Finals at Sunway South Quay Badminton Hall. The Champions & Runners-Up teams from each centre will get to play in the Grand Finals to be held in Sunway South Quay. The Grand Finals Champion Team will get the Extreme Social League Challenge Trophy and take home RM1,000.00 cash prize (or may be higher). C.Format of Play & No. of Registered Players - 2 mens doubles & 1 mix doubles - A team can register up to a max of 14 players. (registration form is attached) D. Payment Per Team - One off Registration : RM50.00 - Fees payable each Session : RM60.00 (includes 6 shuttlecocks and court rental) E. Restrictions CURRENT OR FORMER NATIONAL PLAYERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE XSBL S2. F. Start date, Time & Frequency of Play Date : 17 March 2012 (Saturday) Time : 8.00pm - 10.00pm Frequency : Either on Alternate Saturdays or 2 Saturdays & rest 1 Saturday. (Depends on the number of registered teams) These are the apparent changes and the Season 1 Rules & Regulations still applies for the rest. Registration is open now!
