. Let us take a look at the matches of the 2012 Australian Open GP Gold from the Semi-Finals (Saturday 07-Apr-2012) to the Finals (Sunday 08-Apr-2012). It's great to see that the JPN team has been doing so well. 2012 Australian Badminton Open: Thinking of whom who could make it into the FINALS . From the Semi-Finals, I believe these players could make it into the Finals; Womens Singles...Ai Goto (JPN) Mens Singles.......Nguyen Tien Minh [4] (VIE) Womens Doubles..Luo Ying/Luo Yun (CHN) Mens Doubles.......Fang C.M./Lee S.M. [3] (TPE) Mixed Doubles......Hayakawa/Matsutomo (JPN) And I have PAWed accordingly. .
All disciplines have more that one representative from the same country except MS which have all 4 top seeds from different countries.
2012 Australian Open: Mens Singles have all 4 top seeds from different countries . Which is good, isn't it? However, we have, in the following disciplines; WS: 2 from Korea WD: 2 from Japan MD: 2 from Indonesia XD: 2 from Japan .
Sung HJ vs Han Li, tomorrow afternoon. i can't wait. hope someone will video record it and post it somewhere.
MS SF Chen Jin [1] vs Simon Santoso [3] - the expected SF clash. I will be surprised to see Simon taking this one. MD SF Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan [6] vs Angga Pratama/Rian Agung Saputro [8] - I would want the junior pair to take this one but I think the veteran pair will take it.
2012 Australian Badminton Open: I think Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan [6] can win . IMHO, INA players are playing OK at this tournament. I think Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan [6] can win the Mens Doubles title. .
Court 1 for sure ! Astro will definitely shows match involved Malaysia players and will never shows match that involved INA Vs INA (MD) !
It's not for Astro to decide. Astro just broadcast the matches supplied by the organizers and usually for GP Gold tournaments only one court is broadcast, unlike maybe the WC or SSP.
They should broadcast Court 1. Court 2, all doubles' matches. Court 1 much more interesting, battles of the singles! Of course, not forgetting the last survivors of MAS team, Chan/Goh (hope they'll do well) AND cutie Reiko.
Indeed it is Japan which is represented in all events and therefore has a better chance to advance to tomorrow's finals. Last week INA dominated at the Vietnam IC but at this GP Gold, Japan became the favorites. Another higher level up at the SS will find the much higher ranked players from CHN, KOR, DEN, etc, apart from JPN and INA vying for honors. But for the sake of gaining more Olympic qualifying points and a better seeding, even Chen Jin is going all out to displace Peter Gade to ensure that CHN remains the only badminton powerhouse to be represented by the maximum three players in the MS event. And CJ seems to be succeeding, much to the silent delight of LYB.

Would u believe it, the AUS GPG is showing live on StarHub 211. Bae is now leading Goto 14-9 in the second game, Bae having won the first 21-13.
The WS is just over with the taller and stronger left-handed Korean Bae winning strait games of 13 and 12 against Japanese Goto, who seems to be shorter than net height. Here comes NTM (WR9) and Sho (WR6) who disposed of TH in the QF.
