    kwun, do you have any access to Toalson Superline 80? 0.80 mm - thickest stuff I could find over here.

    no. did some searches and seems to be UK only.

    I wondered if you could use squash string? I did a search and the thinnist I could find was 1.05mm. I have it in my mind that most single pass grommets are 1mm in diameter?

    You must be stringing at this tension for the challenge only? So if you could use squash string would that be cheating

    how about the ashaway rally 20. 0.85mm. but only available in a reel.. hm...

    yeah. it is just for fun. there are 18 gauge tennis/squash string. but that will be too crude.

    Yeh, it was 19 gauge Ashaway squash string that I found.

    Were the grommets wrecked after your attempt in this video?

    I'll jump threads here and suggest some 0.7 mm Spectra fishing line - rated to 150 lb+. Dunno if/how it would play, but if this is a mere technical exercise to test the racket, that wouldn't matter.
