Hello people, has anyone tried both Li-Ning and Yonex badminton shoes? Recently I found a Li-Ning shoes and I like it but because of the price, I need to ask others comment on it. The price is RM300+ as compare to Yonex's, it is so much higher the price.

Thank you.

Li-Ning Shoe is pricey but quality is better than yonex for sure!

I got the LD Hero shoe... I feel heavy in the beginning but now I'm very comfortable with it as it offer better protection and stability. good buy!

In my opinion, the only way for us to compare Lining & Yonex shoes is having one pair of High End model from the respective brands each, & start to wear it from brand new for around 1 year, & inspect how do they marginally go down in quality, cushion, etc..Those two shoes must be spent on around the same hours on court & same competitiveness as well & of course by the same tester.

Yep.. i own Victor, Li-Ning & Yonex... all of them are at the highest end.

of the 3 brand, i could say that Li-Ning is the most expensive, follow by Yonex then Victor.

Which is the best? I definitely vote for Li-Ning in term of design, comfort, protection, durability.

for broad feet guys, i think that Li-ning shoe is so suitable for you.

Do you wear it from brand new condition at more or less the same time & spend similar court hours as well as game competitiveness ?

Li Ning has not been in the market as long as Yonex. Yonex R&D is very active. I'd trust a Yonex product first even though both are invariably made in China now.

Being in business longer does not necessarily mean the products are better. Take for instance the automotive industry with Ford and Toyota. Although Ford has been in the industry of developing and manufacturing cars, Toyota is now top dog for car sales!

Doing the same thing and expecting different results is insanity!

Have you try VICTOR 9100 .This VICTOR shoe is my first shoe from VICTOR.Before that I have played with YONEX since shb-99 to shb-102 ( 87ex for colour).I found that 9100 is on par to YONEX shoe.

Li-Ning shoes are terrible because they don't make my size :D

Seriously though, having such a small range of sizes makes the brand feel so asian exclusive. I feel left out!

Funny enough I found Li-Ning shoes to run a little big. On their website they said they are usually half a size smaller than yonex, but I found quite the opposite.
Also, as a side note, I'm just now trying on my pair of sh lyd shoes (thanks Yan) and they fit more like yonex.

Oh so you're the one who ordered those! Nice! I hope you like them looking!

Victor shoe sizes are pretty much the same as Yonex. The feedback I have had on those shoes is great! It's a shame they don't have my size either!

As for Li-Ning shoes, women shoes seem to be a little smaller. Men shoes however seem to be different depending on the model.

Do Li-Ning shoes tend to be a more narrower fit compared to Yonex or even Victor?

Agree with decoy, Li-ning are wider.. in my small foot, Yonex fit more, and i like the model is simple yet light.

What about in terms of ankle depths? I dont want my shoes to be slipping out half way haha! I'm kinda stuck between victor p9100 and the Yonex shb 02 Mx. Any idea which would be deeper for the ankles and which would be better for broader feet?
