I think one of our members is doing something along these lines.

However, a fully badminton themed bar doesn't sound like it would last long. As part of a sports bar, it's definitely on.

On Singapore's Thomson Road is a popular 'eating house' -- Wee Nam Kee.
It is perhaps the island's most famous Hainanese chicken rice eatery.
It's also the closest thing to a badminton-themed bar that I have been to :D

Mr Wee Toon Oout (or Wee Sr.), of the Harper Valley Club, was a good friend of Zhao Jianhua.
Testimonials and mementos of Mr Wee's bond with badminton are proudly displayed inside the eatery.

Since most people prefer to sit at one of the tables outside, they don't get to see these trophies.
But if you walk into the eatery, past the cash and service counters, you can see the entire display.

If you're really lucky, Wee Sr. might be around too.
And then you get to hear all the anecdotes too :)
