I liked the super stiff MP100, shame I could never find a 4U version of it when it was around.

If you're familiar with the MP100 3U, then the current VT80 3U will be most similar and VT-ZF 3U will be slightly more head heavy than the VT80.

With the VT80 3U, you'll have the weighty feel of the MP100 and stiff shaft and frame.

The shuttle sounds better coming off a VT80 than the MP100 too.

I have been using the MP100 for many years and have been a big fan of it. The only gripe I have with it is it's unforgiveness on off-centre shots, otherwise it would be the perfect racquet.

The racquet I have to replace the MP100 is the Arcsaber 8DX. It has a similar balance, stiffness but it also has better anti-torque properties that makes it a lot more forgiving on off-centre shots. However, it seems to be at the expense of a bit of power.

For me, the 8DX is a combination of the MP100 and MP99.
