Help ! threading a shared hole

    How do u thread a string through a grommet when the shoulder is blocking the grommet. It is a shared grommet btw. Forgot to check where the shared holes are :S

    If you don't have a good awl or a string puller, you can also cut the end of the string with a sharp angle, and try to push the trimmed string end through the grommet with a needle nose plier. This works most of the time. Or you can using some dental floss, this method has yet to fail me:)

    you mean the grommet is blocked by the side support? those can be tricky at the best of times, if you can't get a pair of long nose pliers in there you could try a string mover on themain string (inside the frame) to try and make the path through the grommet a little clearer. failing that you're into dental floss or the guitar srring method...
