    Hi BCers,

I had injured my right ankle from a jumping smash a couple of months back. After a visit from the sports specialist he had diagnosed me with totally missing the calcaneofibular ligament (outer side below the ) due to overuse or injury from both feet. I have been wearing ankle braces during the rehab as my doc says there is nothing i can do about it.

Since now there is no pain and I can play without an ankle guard, I have been thinking whether using just mid cut shoes would be sufficent support rather than needing to buy shoe that are too big for me to accomodate the ankle guard.

    Appreciate your feedback! :D

I would recommend Mid Cut LiNing Shoes AYAF037 Besides its unique looks, this shoes is very protective to the ankle. Thanks to the mid cut, though...

I believe Nike Kobes (6 or 7 now?) for basketball is excellent with ankle support and is super light too.

i remember there is a thread on how basketball shoes are not suitable for baddy. something along the lines that you dont lunge when you play BB.

Anyone can compare BB mid cut shoes vs yonex /li-ning mid cuts?

    thanks
