    Hi BCers,

I had injured my right ankle from a jumping smash a couple of months back. After a visit from the sports specialist he had diagnosed me with totally missing the calcaneofibular ligament (outer side below the ) due to overuse or injury from both feet. I have been wearing ankle braces during the rehab as my doc says there is nothing i can do about it.

Since now there is no pain and I can play without an ankle guard, I have been thinking whether using just mid cut shoes would be sufficent support rather than needing to buy shoe that are too big for me to accomodate the ankle guard.

    Appreciate your feedback! :D

(no sure which forum to post so this is a double post from shoes section)

A mid cut shoe like Yonex SHB-102MD (JP) will do you a world of good. I have tried adding orthopaedic insoles and they still fit and provide the required support.
