For sale, one Carlton Powerblade 9902 racket in good condition save for a paint chip at the 2 o'clock that I got from a mis-hit shuttle. I have since repaired it with paint (it's near the grommet and not very visible). Not done thorough research, but don't think it's available in the stores already. Specifications: 3UG5 (87g dry weight) Head-heavy balance Max String Tension: 30lbs Flex: Very Stiff This is a smashers' racket, as any 9902 user will attest to. The Mitsubishi Rayon shaft is solidly made golf technology, giving the hard hitters something to look forward to. Asking for $120. PM to deal and for questions, thank you.
It's a good racquet for generating power for longer swings... But don't really feel it's very stiff. At most considered Medium stiff to me. But it's one of the better Carlton racquets out there. Definitely a good one...
The blue one's the 9909 right? Think it's the head-light variation of the high-end Powerblade series.
I'd love to give that racket a go... pity the whole line's out of production. The new Asia models feel like OEM knock-offs.
the newer carlton racquets are good for speed (specialists in speed is not a superfluous name) but these racquets are extremely brittle. I broke 3 racquets (one in a freak accident and 2 when I have some overzealous doubles partners clashing their racquet into mine) and decided not to use Carlton's range of racquets anymore as they are not solidly built. Good feel for the racquets but simply too flimsy... the 9902 is better but keeping it in the racquet bag as a spare now...
My Carlton rackets are too precious to me to use in doubles games I've got the 2010 VTs and Air Rage - performs exceptionally well!
Hi , my name is Archy . I 'm very interest to Carlton Powerblade rackets. What products do you have ?
Hi , Desouled , I had been looking for the 9902 about 1 year. It is good and amazing racket. How many you got and the price you give ?
Nope. As you said, it's pretty hard to find one of these.. and I think mine's in pretty good condition. Consider and let me know, thanks!
