Watching Egelstaff v Gavnholt. Egelstaff is playing dreadfully, one unforced error after the next, it's like she has not been going to training or getting coached. Total rust bucket, this is not good news for GB's Ladies singles olympic effort

Egelstaff has just finished playing a tournament in Peru last week. It's highly possible that she hasn't recovered from the fatigue and jetlag from that tournament yet.

Yeah she flew from Peru on Saturday/Sunday direct via London to Sweden, it isn't much of a surprise.

"... and thus ended the Olympic quest of Lianne Tan". An amazing match it was and perhaps decided on a single highly regrettable decision by Tan. With a 4 point lead, 12-8 I think, she let a smash return drop out ... except it wasn't

. Didn't even reach half court and was ripe for a kill but she let it drop .... and the rest as they say is history.
