    Hello

I have now bought a Pro's Pro Shuttle Express, but I don't know how to use it. There is no manual with it, and I don't seem to find any manual or video online.

Can anyone briefly tell me step by step how can I use this thing? when I put the string in the tension holder and rotate the handle (which is not smooth at all) nothing happens, no brake or stop... it goes going until the string is torn apart.

    I really appreciate any help

when I put the string in the tension head and rotate the handle (which is not smooth at all) nothing happens, no brake or stop... it goes going until the string breaks.

    what can I do?

couple possible problem hard to determine the cause without more details... a video perhaps..

in the meantime look for obstruction near the string clamp there is a spring activated lock mechanism that realease the brake when reach desire tension.

second ... check or calibrate the tention befoe a string job ..

i do that once every while to make sure all is in check before stringing...

What did you set your tension at ?

Maybe you could provide a video of what happens ?

My guess would be that either the tension is set too high (aka you put 25kg instead of 25lbs) or that the machine wasn't assembled properly (which seems unlikely, the crank part probably arrived already assembled).

The brake just doesn't pop out... I checked the tension, it was on 28 LB, I even tried it on 5 LB but doesn't work there either.... here are some pics from my machine:

It releases the brake when the tension is at 15 LB, but when I set it to 26 LB, it breaks the string near the end of the track without braking :( ... what is wrong?

1- could be your groomet are cracked so the string rub on frame
2- your crank is off calibration.. get like a fish weighter and check the calibration..

what kind of string are you using?

I changed the string, and it works with Ashaway Rally-20 (.85mm tick!)... maybe it was the string... But I am pretty sure that the tension accuracy is not there... where can I find this fish weather and test teh calibration?

I had the same problem of calibration with this machine. The brake did not stop well. I sent it back to the local retailer.

The brake not coming out? Make sure your machine is calibrated.
