can someone explain the details of the forehand service in single? which foot goes infront or which carries the weight at which time? I have seen many variations of this serve, so which is the best?

can someone post a nice link to a site that'd help?

    just apreciated.

Try all variations on an empty court and see which gives best results for you.

i recommend getting some match videos and just find one style you like and imitate them.

while i can't say "easy", but the forehand service is probably the more straightforward and "forgiving" stroke in badminton in the way that it is not difficult to do it right and also you are under little pressure....

Yes, get some videos and watch how they serve.

some videos can be found at http://www.badmintoncity.com/main ..the new videos that are added will require a sort of fee but previous older vids are free.

another point that may help..if you find that you are having trouble getting the shuttle to the back of the court when serving long and high... try to keep in mind to have the shuttle dropped a fair distance in front of you therefore enabling you to extend your arm to serve as effortlessly as possible

Yep, try all the variations you know and seen on video and use what your most comfortable with.
