Gimcheon, is a small city quite smack in the middle of South Korea with a population of around 150,000 people. In Indonesia, it looks like a Wonosobo with way less people... I'm not quite sure why Korea chose this city time and time again; Gimcheon was used for the 2010 Korea GP. My best guess is that Korea Badminton Association just want to spread the popularity of Badminton all over South Korea. Aside from the annual Korea Open PSS in Seoul, they spread the tournament geography around: 2008 Korea Int. Challenge in Yeosu 2009 Korea Int. Challenge in Seoul 2010 Korea GP in Gimcheon 2011 Korea GP Gold in Hwasun-gun 2012 World University Badminton Championship in Gwangju
You are too easily tempted George.... Why Dieng? Wonosobo is in the middle of Central Java... Dieng is in East Java...
Hehehe, you're right... Dieng is in Central Java, near Wonosobo... Gimcheon is like Korea's Wonosobo, right?

Official list from BAC can be downloaded here There is a question from me, why can Korea send many players in each category, more than other country. They send 6 in BS and GS respectively and 5 pairs for BD and GD and 6 pairs for XD. I thought there is a limit in each department. As for Indonesia, there are something make me confused too. ------------------ In Mixed Team Indonesia depends only on Shesar Hiren Rustavito and Arif Gifar Ramadhan in BS, Fikri Ihsandi is not included.
simply because they are the host of this tourney.... same case for malaysia last year (or last 2 years ?? cmiiw)...

Good spot. The month and days are correct, but according to PBSI data, Edi Subaktiar was born in 1994 and Arya Maulana in 1995.
