quite surprised to see Setyana Mapasa win over Kim Hyo Min, as the korean is Hungarian Junior 2012 winner in both GS and GD, and as runner up in XD

A glimmer of light in GS as Setyana Mapasa beat Kim Hyo Min 21-15, 26-24. She faces a winnable match against Liang Xiaoyu for a place in the last 8. Liang was beaten by Hanna in the Team-Event.
Shen Yaying was also defeated by Akane Yamaguchi.

I think Kim Hyo Min and Lee Jang Mi(Hanna's opponent) are current KOR best GS? Both are finalist in Hungaria Junior 2012, and Lee Jang Mi is German Junior 2012 winner.

Sort of. Park So Young is one of the best but she has withdrawn. She and the others who were on the national team at the time did not go to Germany or Hungary. She recently played decent matches against Michelle Chan and Mitani Minatsu but she hasn't done much in international junior events. I wonder if they hesitated to send her, although she was winning national age-group titles, because she was very short. She lost to Kim Hyo Min in 3 games at the recent summer high school championships.
Kim Hyo Min also won at the Surabaya Cup two years in a row. She and Kim Ye Ji have another year of juniors but So Young, Jang Mi, and Min Ji are all in their last year of juniors.

I think Calvin Ong is just nowhere great... sad to say..
Tan Wee Gieen is better but I don't think better than his brother...
I not too sure about Soong Joo Vern standard, he didn't really impress me last time. What happened to Lim Chi Wing by the way?
How old is Cheam June Wei? I always see him around in 100 plus circuits but I'm very sure he didn't compete in U-19.
