Perhaps Chen Jin need not to step his foot to the stadium as well.. Very high chance though;)

No chance to watch LD-CJ live tomorrow on TV as only the 1st session, the afternoon one,is broadcast on TV in my country - don't quite understand why not both sessions(lack of sponsorship,no TV rights?). Hope to catch it on livestreaming then.

As I've said earlier,Lin Dan, who has nothing to play for here other than an obligation to make his appearance as it is held in his home country, may want to do charity one last time. Not sure if Chen Long would obliged should he meet Chen Jin in the final, which appears likely, doubt Du PY can stop him tomorrow.

As for LXR-Chen XJ, I see no compelling reason for the latter not to go all out to win, esp after having succeeded in ousting Wang Xin, a remarkable feat continuing her giant-killing exploits. I'd be amazed if CXJ beats LXR, thus signalling a meteoric rise of another star.

As for WYH-WSX, not quite sure what's in the former's mind as far as her OG spot is concerned since winning or losing doesn't affect her - it may depend on her mood, her relationship with WSX or whether this title means much to her, as well considering she has overcome her half-nemesis Jiang YJ.

Nevertheless, it will be an absolute cracker to see an LXR-WSX Final, where the latter, I fear, would have more to worry about in view of the former's scintillating, spectacular, splendid form at present.

Wang Shixian has a big task and needs to keep her cool if she is to beat Wang Yihan tomorrow. She will go all out to beat the world number 1 whereas the World Number 1 at the moment has nothing to gain or lose from this tournament.

Will she on basis of her relationship with WSX throw the match in order to block LXR's succession (well ranking-wise) and let WSX win in order to impress the big boss.

The other half is going to be a fixed that's for sure, Chen Xiao Jia will be instructed to lose because it would be considered an eye-opener to see if WSX or LXR has what it takes to deserve the third spot in the Olympics. From what we have seen in LXR's performance, this girl is definitely on fire and truly deserves to be introduced on the bigger stage to showcase her skills....

Now here's the biggest problem: Wang Xin. I believe on record this year she has not been performing and sending her to the Olympics maybe appear to be the biggest mistake that's yet ever made. I see her as the player that's likely to choke or crash out in the early rounds of the Olympics than Wang Yihan and Wang Shixian. At least the two have made it to the semifinals in every tournament they participated...How now...is LYB going to base his informed decisions on his personal intution or the interest of the nation?

Semi finalists only from 3 countries.

I would guess that if Bao/Zhong wins, CS/PP would win against QT/ZYL

As far as MS concern, I suspect there would be no walk over but practice games for chinese team for Thomas cup. Lin Dan won't play the games seriously and Chen Jin will make it to the final. CJ play quite well at the moment. They will play in a way that Chen is justified to be the winner of the game. Chen L may give the game to DPY so that he doesn't have to meet C J in the Final.

Not quite sure what happened to Wang Xin lately. Difficult to guess what is the intention for her to lose the game or really her form has dropped. This will really make thing complicated for LYB if it is not a fixed game. LYB is a clever man, he won't choose based purely on H2H against nonchinese players only but also the current form of his players. If Wang Xin form has dropped, she would be the one doesn't make it in the end.

With this current form she had, i see her getting eliminated in the first round just like Lin Dan in Athens, the first one of the Wangs to go out...no offense to her, i really dont feel comfortable with her performance lately.

WSX would be sad/happy with the current situation now. A mixed feeling between joy and anxiety. All these will be revealed in the next edition of Uber Cup 2012. Whoever screws up China's chance of winning Uber Cup will be kicked out of the team.

But bear in mind China needs WYH badly, she cannot be excluded...unless LYB is over-confident with LXR's ability

cxj will lose because LXR is better than her. There is no point instructing her to lose because she more than likely would anyway.

It is easy to say this match is fixed and that match is fixed, but you dont become world number 4 without being good, no matter the circumstances. Jiang Yanjiao, Chen Xiao Jia have both been playing a long time and are not there, the rankings cannot lie.

The "REDs" of CHN seem unstoppable!

Will this be the same scenario at the forthcoming London Olympics?
Let's hope not. Granted the absence of some big names including LCW and a few others.

Northeast Asia completely dominated South and Southeast Asia. IND, INA, MAS and THA are nowhere to be seen. Players from CHN, who is represented in every match today, will cross swords with only those from KOR and JPN. No players from even INA are represented. I wonder for those who 'retired' earlier whether they could survive this far against ferocious CHN. While a number of "new" faces are in the CHN lineup, I could see none from the other SE Asian countries.

The question is "will the CHN players who qualified for the Olympics be able to sustain their pace and peak at London in the right time?" Chances are they will succeed.

But many will be hoping that at least some of the other powerhouses will be able to break CHN's backbone. A faint hope but nothing is impossible!

That's a very good question you put forward there. It's not about whether China could deliver the same performance in London, BUT SPECIFICALLY the players that will be playing in London, could they deliver the same kind of performance without relying the help and presence of their backup comrades...

On paper, it looks good now for China to go the kill in every category. But they have to start experimenting and assessing the mentality of the players who are selected to compete in London by fielding them ONLY in the remaining Singapore and Indonesia Premier Open.

So it is yet far from victory for China. They now have to spend the rest of the months studying their opponents who they will playing against and stop bearing thought of they as one team is competing to wipe out every opponent they meet, it's all about themselves on and off the court.

Yes, once the draw has been released, they need to start preparing to conduct evaluation on every opponent and use the current resources they have in their pool of players to replicate the style of their opponents for their simulated matches...China by now should have learnt their lesson after a surprise defeat suffered by Chen Long in London. The other category China should be extremely careful of is Mixed Doubles and WS as they could be upsets...(A LOT) if they are not prepared...

I think there is no early elimination round in the Olympics. Just Group Stages. So Wang Xin cannot be eliminated in the early rounds. This year Olympics' arrangement will be similar to last year SS Finals.

Lin Dan was not doing great in the first half of 2008. He lost to LCW in Thoms Cup 2008. And look what happened in August 2008. He was on fire. He was obviously concealing his true strength.

While China is dominating their continental tournament, they should be aware of the recent development news over to Europe and the upcoming players that could potentially be dangerous when they face them.

Over here, Astro is showing both sessions live on Channel 811. Not sure about 831HD because no info on website.
