My good fortune to be able to watch the on-going XD semi finals. Again it was Choi Hye In who won point 6 for KOR.

Now Kim Sa Rang, Choi's partner, just hit the tape and out to give CHN's #1pair Zhang/Zhao the lead 11-9 in the decider.

The Koreans have already made their presence felt with their notable scalps in the earlier rounds.

Score now 14-10 in CHN's favor.

Choi and Kim did quite well...the lack of experience is the reason why they lost...

At the moment,in the WS,Wang YH is still the best I think, the most consistent,in good form and highly experienced, therefore indispensable if I may say so. LXR is excellent and in the same league as the three Wangs but somewhat not as experienced and mature (no fault of hers as she is a new, relatively young superstar), form aside, but, more importantly, she is not tested in pressure-cooker situation. As such,LYB choosing her in place of WSX or some say WX, is not a sure thing yet, there is still time for him to wait and see, test them out. For today's WS semi-finals, I believe all four players will give of their best as that's the only way for LYB to gauge them and not just pit LXR against WSX alone;same for the previous matches, for which surprisingly Wang X failed the test, losing out to Chen XJ.

For the MS,it's clear they want Chen Jin to qualify,no two ways about it and happily CJ has proven he is up to it,with or without "help". Nonetheless,it's worth it for Lin Dan and Chen Long "to play their part here" now that PG has, unexpectedly, been bundled out at the EC QF stage by a Swedish player,Henry Huskainen - a few upsets there, HK Vittinghus was knocked out early too.

CXJ is no easy meat, she's determined to play her guts out, a really good match so far.

Not bad,CXJ matching LXR point for point, even troubling her a number of times.

I absolutely cannot agree with that. Our Uncle Loh has watched that match and commented on the quality of the srtrokes and rallies played, despite Wang YH not being 100% fit. Besides,I've also pointed out that it would be foolish for WYH not to win it,thereby elevating LXR's ranking to the extent of threatening the three Wang's OG spots, which is what's happening today as otherwise LXR would still be ranked 5th.

But to lose the first game in a one-sided manner and making too many uncharacteristic errors to let Li Xuerui caught up level and won the final game whilst she took a big lead before the interval, i dont think that's Wang Yihan playing in the All England, of all the finals i have watched with Wang Yihan in it, that was one of the worst final matches i ever watched, not taking anything away from LXR of course, she played super well but i cannot digest the fact Wang Yihan could be easily outplayed in the final....

Dont get me wrong.. LXR is good and currently on fire as well. I just get upset by the fact LYB is so desperate to make sure his objectives were met, fixing matches is one of the things he willl not hesitate to do...the All England 2012 final was one of them..
