As I had mentioned on the WSX thread, WX is really trying to play her way out of the OG team. LYB must be a little worried with her current form. At the moment, she looks to behind both WSX and LXR.

I think only WYH's spot is secure.

DPY, like CJ, is a chaser. Their style is not the most attractive, which is probably why he (and CJ) is under appreciated.

I can imagine LYB saying to WSX: You may be the number 3 in the world, your OG spot is not assured, you got to prove yourself to me (rings a bell? - he said that to WYH before). So don't expect any of her colleagues to help her. So,it's up to WYH to play and win against WSX later and for WSX to raise her game another level - it should be a match worth watching. Didn't we just witnessed a brilliantly-fought LXR-CXJ duel?

Will WX and WYH help WSX in secret.....we'll find out later in few hours time...WX could be relying on the assumption that LYB still favours her to play in London despite her ups and downs..

but why does she want to play her way out of the olympics..it's one of her biggest dreams when she took up badminton as a career.....becoming a world champion is the other one

He didn't mean it that way,not referring to her intention but her inability to get her act together.

Sorry, it was stated in a facetious manner. I should have used the appropriate smiley to indicate that.

Of course she aspires to play in the Olympics but her miserable run of form makes it seem like she is trying her best to play herself out of it.

DPY has evened it up. His defensive G2 display was incredible. CL seemed out of ideas as the shuttle kept on coming back time and time again. DPY 3-0 in G3

An upset in the making or is Chen Long beginning to put on an act starting from G2 actually? But already past the hour mark, what a hassle, so maybe it's for real, Chen Long is taken by surprise, Du PY playing better than expected. Let's see the final outcome.

That's why in the Olympics never take anything for granted. A once in 4 yrs event, a once in a lifetime chance to win fame and put your name down in the annals, many participants simply and literally go "crazy" during the games and perform beyond their normal abilities, we've seen this happening so many times across all sports.

Gorgeous inside out drop from DPY. He's almost ground CL to a halt. DPY 14-6

What an incredible reaction block by DPY on a point blank net kill 15-6

Chen JIn should be given this title....Lin Dan has won it twice already in China...cant be bothered to win it again.....The right move would be to keep him rested for India.

it's their performance at Uber which will be most decisive. I wouldn't be surprised if WYH bombs it again, and WX does not lose one single game.

LYB only needs to decide which three of the four will play in Olympics on 31 May, which is a few days after Thomas/Uber Cup.
