Asics Gel Rocket Semi-Review

I recently bought myself a pair of Asics Gel Rockets, and as of so far; I LOVE THEM.
Up until recently, I was using a pair of normal runners, and now that I'm getting serious with badminton, I figured it was time for a new pair of shoes. For the price ($80 Canada) I was extremely impressed. They are snug on top and feel like feathers compared to runners. I didn't think i would immediately notice the feeling of the grippy-ness. Boy, was I suprised. Playing on my gym floor, it felt like I could stop quicker, shuffle faster, and all of which without twisting my ankles because they're so much lower to the floor than normal runners are.

In all, I'd give them an 8.7/10.
For the price, I don't think you can do much better.

And, I don't know the exact model, I think they're just the origial Gel-Rockets.

I'm also using Gel Rocket....very stable cushioning and grip. My only issue with this shoe is it's a bit heavy than other badminton shoe (esp versus yonexes). However, that is the price you pay for a well-cushioned shoe...

but it's still the a great court shoe for its price value.

If you love the gel rocket, try the gel blade!!!! its reaaaallly awesome! and lasts quite long tooo!!!!!

Any more opinions on the Gel Rocket 6 Volleyball shoes as badminton shoes? Are they as light as the Yonex SHB-SC6? I can't find any specs on the Gel Rocket 6.
