Hi All ...... it's the 'Bag-Freak' here again with another rectangle badminton bag. :)

    Bag : Mizuno 6DT-22009.

    Dimensions : L75 x W20 x H32

Price : ¥6,962 after discount (not including shipping)

It's available from Shuttle House and comes only in Black.

    Features

    - 2 separate padded compartments ..... one racket compartment, and one main compartment for your stuff.
Please take note that the main compartment CANNOT be separated into 2 individual compartments like the
    Yonex 1111W and 1201W.

    - Both compartments come with it's own removable hard 'base'.

    - 2 zipper pockets .... one at the front of the bag, and one inside the bag.

    - 1 'open' pocket .... inside the bag

    - Does not come with buckles and shoulder straps for sling carrying.

    And that's about it ! ........ :D

There's absolutely nothing fancy or outstanding about this bag ...... it's just a very simple, down-to-earth, no-frills bag for players who just need something to lug their stuff around.

But i like it for it's good size, light-weight and simple design.

It is a shiny bag as compared to the Yonex compatriot...

Indeed! Also saw it a while back and took into consideration but the outer material looked like a $5 duffel bag ...
But at least we can now hear a hands-on review :D

It probably looks more 'shiny' than it actually is because i used a mini spotlight on it for the 'photoshoot'. :D

Yeah, material-wise does look a bit cheap .... but then, i've seen worse. :D

Hahaha...Hope that dingboy does enjoy the purchase.. As far as i know, Mizuno made a good quality of product, however, i guess we should wait for dingboy enlightenment, though :D

Thanks for the info. I do not aware of this Kason bag at all... I much more prefer CY/FHF signature bag, though..more colorful :p

thanks alot dingboy ! I've been looking for pictures of this bag and couldn't find one. but thanks to you, comparing this bag and yonex 1111w, made it easier :)
Got a question, how much does it cost for shipping bags in shuttle-house? I haven't really bought stuff from there yet but am looking at some bags and thinking to buy it from there.
    appreciate your reply !

Looking at pic #2 shipping cost 2400 Yen to Singapore for this 1.32KG package ;). Count on more for the 1111W, Oz might even be in a next region postal wise ... but you can easily check at Japan Post website EMS shipping.

    Hi there ..... :)

You are most welcome ..... I'm glad i could help you out somewhat.
I was also looking for more pics and info on this bag, but couldn't find any .... so i know your frustration. :)

For this particular bag, shipping cost to Singapore was ¥2,400 (approx SGD$37).
Shuttle House ships their stuff out via EMS .... so as usual, their shipping service is fantastic.

From browsing, to ordering online, to confirmation, to payment, to receiving the actual goods = 4 days.

Good luck on your comparison and decision between the 6DT-22009 and 1111W. :)
I was also considering either the 1111W, BR-220C, and the FBJG008 .... but decided to get the Mizuno for now, just for kicks. :D

Yep ..... i know about this one ..... thanks :)

I was also looking at either that, the Kason FBJG008, Victor BR-220C, or Yonex 1111W. :D

Yeah .... i kind of prefer duffel-style badminton bags now, over the normal ones.
I'm afraid Shuttle House doesn't stock Victor or Kason stuff ..... just mostly Yonex, Mizuno, Gosen etc ..

For Victor stuff, you can try emailing Eric from RKEP to see if he can get the bag.

Alternatively, Chris from E-Link Sports in Singapore may be able to help you too.
He has the new model Kason FBJG008 in stock now, and he may also be able to get the Victor BR-220C.

For Kason stuff, i ordered my Kason FBJF014-2 from the Hong Kong website www.e78.com .

I agree! I just like duffel bags more than the normal ones :p have you looked at yonex 7130? It seemed like a good bag, but never found pictures of the inside. Im also looking at that.
anyhow, Thanks so much for the help! Hope you enjoy your new mizuno bag !
    cheers :)

In my opinion, It is just a matter of time for LiNing to come out with duffle bag type of Badminton bag..After Kason followed Yonex, now Victor also follow..

7130 & co. are true duffel bag style with just one big compartment ("tour bag"). This here Mizuno and 1111W, BR-220 are more rectangle racket bags :D, an not nearly as big/wide. Too bad the Victor letters are so ugly, the bag looks quite nice actually. First time I see it :) ...

    @redbaddy18

If you are buying Yonex Rectangular bag, do make sure that it was a JP series, otherwise as time goes by non-JP series will be easier to get out of shape.

is it because of material use or quality control?
