Hi Frameasser, I'm opening up a store soon, and the new SL-70 will be part of my inventory. If you're interested in getting one, please PM me. As for the review of the last year's racket: I think that the SL-70 is too light for me, even for defense. So with that being said, the offense on this racket is surprising. I didn't figure that a light racket would be able to have crisp smashes (if it is restrung with a decent string like BG65 at 24LBs). Clearing is bit tricky, but once you get the timing down, it's the same as any racket. Not effortless, but still not too much effort/power required. The grip that they use is the standard Super PU Grip that's only available with Karakal. Like you said it's grippy and when you sweat, it doesn't lose it's tackiness. This is why I use the Super PU on pretty much all of 4 of my rackets. And pretty soon, on a pair of Mia Audina 03 SA's. 1) Carlton Rasmussen x 3 2) Yonex MP100 x 1 Hope this helps you out.

Yeah. The newer ones don't have the cat logo anymore. They just have the "Karakal Ear" shaped like an "A" logo. But if you looking for an older SL-70, again PM me.
