Singles Badminton in Surrey / Langley / White Rock
Hi,
I'm looking to play singles badminton in Surrey / Langley / White Rock. I'm looking for a regular partner to play/train mens singles with a few times a week. I'm a singles player & I've been playing doubles for the last few years and its just boring to me.
I would consider myself an advanced player. I'm 45 years old and have been playing since highschool. I've maintained my fitness since highschool so age is not an issue for me. I'm more interested in the challenge and improvement in my singles game. Currently I play 3 or 4 times a week.
Anyway, if anyone is interested or if anyone knows where the best place to play singles badminton is please let me know - preferably in the Surrey / Langley / Whire Rock area.
Thanks.

Bring your own. I've seen people use both.

Thanks for the info.
I will try for this Sunday @ 7:00pm. I use both types of shuttles but prefer feathers. I will bring both.

Are u still looking for single player in surrey?
Yes I am. I'm getting a bit bored of playing doubles. Where / when do you play?
I'm just getting over a bad cold or something - should be ok in a few days to play.

Singles are not THAT popular in community recreation centers because the space is limited. But South Surrey Recreation Center (right beside Semiahmoo Secondary School).
We mostly play doubles here.
Sunday(s) - 8:15-11:00AM
You can check their website for more times for badminton. Floors quite nice.
