I meant the base clamps, the thing that you put the fixed clamps on :p

I like the automatic release feature of the ones I linked, but I want to know if they require effort to lock or if they're like Gamma's switch action base clamps.

Those Pro's Pro Base is not useable for badminton cause of the clamps. They are just for tennis and not really good for badminton (too wide teeth).
Changing of clamps is not easy because the clamps with this base are not a fixed on the base with a roundsteel but with a hallow shaft .. so you have to modify your current clamps if you want to use them.

I cant compare the effort to lock with the gamma's but there is a huge simplification in comparison to normal pro's pro bases
    i will post some pictures:

Thanks a lot for the pictures!

Now I know that I'll probably have to buy their fixed clamps too!

As for the effort to lock it, you're right that it's hard to compare, so I'll try to describe the best I can.

The Gamma base clamps pretty much make you turn tighten a nut to lock the base. This takes efforts pretty much like if you had to turn the nut with a wrench manually.

What I'm interested in is being able to lock the base with a simple finger flick or something close to that, almost effortless. Is that the case for your base clamps ?

    Thank you!

So the principle is the same as compared gamma base clamps.
when i watched kwuns new videos it looks like they work slighltly a little bit easier but i'm not sure.
the pro's pro base clamps can fixed with two fingers easily with one finger to fix and on finger to pull the arm. you have to use little power in your fingers but should be easy for any badmintonplayer
