SWH outplayed LCW is a CL-like manner. He played with good accuracy and patient play to beat him.
I don't believe LCW has the skill to take down defensive players like CL, SWH, and SDK easily like LD does, which is why these players score wins over him.

the way to play LCW is to keep the games real tight*, a couple of points either way and eventually he will fold under pressure.
*- easier said than done for most players!Last edited by AlanY; 04-30-2012 at 01:48 PM.

This is what Shon Wan Ho said on his Facebook shortly after his win at India Open against LCW
Do we have any Korean BCers here who can translate this?
From what it looks like, he is very relieved and thankful

Shon Wan Ho lost to Chen Long in Thomas Cup because Chen Long also plays a very patient game and made zero mistakes against him.
He also could keep with Shon's stamina that's he won..Still Shon Wan Ho posed a serious threat to Lee Chong Wei . I notice Lee Chong Wei gets really nervous and struggled to play against Koreans...like in India Open final, he was smashing like a headless chicken and Shon has no problems counter attacking gain points of him.
Shon is a dangerman in London but not to the Chinese for now...to Lee Chong Wei yes

honestly, SWH and LHI both have a chance at the gold if theyre consistent

I don't think LHI has the endurance. He can really play a classy game, but not for 3 sets against the best players.

At best still the semis unless they created some new weapons or miracle when in OG.
LHI game is too predictable for the top players.
The younger one may have a slight chance if the day goes his way like what he played against LCW.
Not impossible. Just increase the stamina and consistency and accuracy of the shots, he is there.

Badminton Korea's actually not that similar to Vogue ...
You want a style mag? There're plenty of them.

You could try contacting them directly. They do have at least one staff member who speaks English. They might give you a subscription, it's hard to say. Unfortunately, their 'contact us' link is not actually a hyperlink and their subscription link, on this page, requires registration and login, which in turn requires Korean language ability and a gov't ID number issued at birth.
You could try the other one, too. They had the same idea for a cover story in the new issue. I think you can view everything a month old or more here, though their actual website is here.
